Manchester Water Works Chlorine Conversion

June 29, 2026

On Monday, May 18, 2026 MWW iniatated a system wide hydrant flushing program in conjuction with a distribution system disinfection conversion to free chlorine. This common preventative maintenance practive helps to remove nitrifying bacteria in the pipelines and improve overall water quality. With completion of the flushing program on June 26, 2026, MWW will convert back to its standard distribution disinfectant, Chloramines, on Monday July 6, 2026.  Should you have any questions please call the CHWP office at (603) 624-0608
